Book of Ra and Co. available: Greentube is back to the German Market

As early as November 2020, we reported that the Novomatic subsidiary was preparing to return to the German Online Casinos. Since then it has become very quiet at times about the gambling giant and its ambitious project. But just in time for the new GlüStV to come into force on July 1, 2021, Greentube has now returned to the German online gaming market. But where can players now safely play the popular online slots?

StarGames is reopening its doors to real money players

For several years, StarGames visitors were only able to play with play money currency on the online platform. After around four years, the operators have awakened StarGames from its slumber and activated real money mode. GlüStV: Greentube implements all player protection regulations

In a press release, the Novomatic subsidiary Greentube emphasizes that all player protection measures are of course observed. After all, Greentube was one of the first gaming companies to secure a coveted German gaming license. Understandably, Greentube endeavors to implement all regulations in order not to risk fines or even the loss of their license. This means that the following restrictions have been in effect at StarGames since July 1, 2021:

• Maximum bet of one euro per spin
• There is a break between two rounds of the game (“5 seconds rule”)
• Autospin feature is deactivated
• A maximum of EUR 1,000 can be deposited per month and per player
• Progressive jackpot slots are not available (e.g. Thunder Cash)

Greentube recaptures the European market

At the end of 2017, Novomatic announced that it wanted to withdraw completely from the German online gaming market. As a result, it was no longer possible in any online casino to play the coveted online slots such as Book of Ra ™ or Dolphin’s Pearl ™ online for real money.

Meanwhile, Greentube is gradually returning to the European online gaming market. For example, it wasn’t until the end of March that we reported on the launch of Greentube’s online service in Poland.
